private mat class
LAGCC (Los Altos Golf and Country Club) Mat Pilates strengthens and lengthens your body while you stabilize through your core muscles. This class is also designed to increase balance, align your body and posture. You will learn to recruit your core muscles as you move through your daily activities.
Mat Pilates class is held Wednesdays 9:30am and Saturdays 9am
private reformer
Reformer pilates uses springs and the reformer apparatus to help you connect with various muscle groups. It strengthens you, helps with flexibility, posture, balance, alignment, and stress. Pilates incorporates a mind/body connection, it asks that you be intentional about properly moving and working your body for each exercise. You become acutely aware of how you are supposed to move to increase strength while preventing injury.
